Katrine's Traveldiary Berlin 10.-17.January 2006

11.Jan - We're in Berlin! We've been shopping today, but no luck. We're sitting in the sofa, just put on some makeup and watched Marianne become superblonde!
Looks like we're going out today. My throat hurt a bit, but grandma have always told me that spirit is the best medicine. I wanna see if that's true! Nuss nuss from Katrine

12.Jan - We ended up in Kafè Burger last night. The night ended at 6 AM, and we woke up 4 hours later.
Spirit is not a good medicine! I'm 10 times worse! Today's Torben birthday, so we're going out to a sushi restaurant to eat!

13.Jan - I was to sick the last the hole night. After dinner, I went home with Marianne and we watched Seinfeld for hours! Torben & Linda went out to meet Annekens mystery boyfriend, and got home at 8 AM.

Today Torben's celebrating his birthday at Ballhaus Mitte. I'm feeling a little bit better today, I hope this will be a night to remember!

14.Jan - I had so much fun last night! Met a lat of cool people but I was still very sick. When is this going to end?
We're going out today as well. Me, Linda, Anneken and Adam.

15.Jan - First we went to Erdbeer and had a couple of drinks and then we ended up in Burger... again!
I met the cutest guy ever, from New Jersey! Linda found a guy as well, she thought it was the cutest guy in the whole disko, but she was wrong! She really had her beer glasses on that night! We went have kind of early since both were too drunk! But it was hard to get some sleep after all the Vodka Redbulls!

16.Jan - We're at Aufsturz, the place with more than 120 different kinds of beer. We drinking, offcourse, beer! Ida is coming, so is Andres and the Mexican guy...

17.Jan - We're at the airport. The flight is delayed... offcourse! It was a great trip, had so much fun! I'm sad we didn't get to go to the museum where they have a big dinosaur, but I think Linda is glad.
Can't wait till next time! Probably in July!

Normalas in Berlin! part 3

24.July - The ZOO was nice as always and we met Jan Simonsen! We don't really like him, but it's fun to see people we know.

I(Linda) fell asleep on the hammock at 22:30 so nothing much happened that night. Katrine watched an american movie dubbed in german..Today we're going shopping at Kudamm!

25: July- Yesterday started great with a desert in KaDeWe! After that we did some shopping, and when Linda tried on a gorgeous dress, the lights went out in whole Kudamm. So no more shopping for us, since they kicked us out from the store. We found out that beer is better than waiting for electricity! Balconys is a better place to spend our last day...A bottle of aquavit disappeared faster than you can say "sjokoladekakebakesmakekonkurranse i Tsjekkoslovakia".

We hooked up with Torben at Strandbar Mitte, where we drank way to strong gin tonics, and played in the sand.
Katrine, Cookie, Andres and Otto jumped over a fence to swim in a pool, but some guy in a uniform didn't like that idea..


Now it's time to go home. We're at the airport, the flight is delayed as always and we're thinking about what our bosses would say if we don't show up for work tomorrow.

We had a great time, and we miss you guys allready! Visit us in Norway whenever you want to! Mi casa su casa!

Normala in Berlin! part 2

21.July - Shoppingday! At least we tried to shop, but it was to damn hot, so we went back to the balcony(our favourite place in the whole world!).
Tonight it's girls night out! We bought plenty of fruits & berries, rom and beer, and dressed up in sweet little dresses! Elisabeths place next!


22.July - It's 11 o'clock and I'm(Katrine) is sitting on the balcony. Only three hours of sleep, the girls are still asleep. We went to Oper palais last night where we found Ragne(my couisine), and she introduced me the cutest guy ever!! Mari fell of the wagon, but me & Linda danced the night away with hot guys and german footballsongs! It's coming home, it's coming home....When everybody wakes up we're going to Wannsee. Nice to go the a real beach for a change......Mari starts cleaning. Mari makes all the guys help her, while Katrine and Linda goes out to buy pizza! Mari thinks Katrine and Linda sneaks away from the cleaning, but Mari didn't come home at 6 AM!


23.July - Suddenly it's Sunday.. It's cloudy today, looks like a perfect day for the ZOO.Yesterday was great! I (Linda) kicked Cookies ass in Chess! Twice! And we went to Mousiur(I know it's spelled wrong!) Wong. The food was delicious for some, and the service was magnificent! Erdbeer next! Erdbeer is world known for it's delicious Strawberry daquiris, and it's probably the nicest place in Europe! After many hours of cozyness, we went to Dante for some dancing. It's not recommended to go to Dante at 4 in the morning, det dabber litt av der etterhvert for å si det sånn!

18.July- Jess! Finally, we're on the train to the airport! 3 chicas with tooo much luggage and ready for some good days in the city that never sleeps...BERLIN, BABY!
We're talking about what we've forgot, what we remembered, whats legal or not and our favourite quote: What happens in Berlin, stays in Berlin!!!!

Katrine finds out on the plane, she has forgotten her toothbrush(she always forgets her toothbrush, and that means she have to borrow Lindas). When we arrives, the chicos are waiting for us in the apartment, and we're going ut!

19.July - Sun!!!!
We're standing in a line... it's long, it's hot, but at the end of the line, there is a big pool on the river! Badechiff!!!
We brought Elisabeth with us for the day. Katrines day started like this: I wake up wet, think I'm a kilo lighter. I think it's somewhere around noon, but when I looked at the time, it turns out, its just 7! The thought of going back to the wet pond in my bed is not very tempting. I try to sleep, but no luck. Cold shower! Finally the other girls wake up. Linda has a bad hangover, but decides to wait with her throwing-up-routine till we get to a cafè. The toilet in the bathroom looks like crap, because it's full of crap!
We meat Anneken & Elisabeth at a cafè. Everybody eats a delicious breakfast, except Linda, who has a date with the toilet. It's time to go to the "beach"!

We're boiling in the sun, thank god for the pool at the surface of the river! By the way, WHAT'S UP WITH GERMAN GUYS AND TINY WEENY SWIMMINGTROUSERS??? Honestly, the only guy who's aloud to wear one of those is Fredrik Ljungberg(the footballplayer and Katrine's future husband...hopefully!)

20.July - What a lovely day it has been! 37 degrees and Badechiff again! Patrick, Cookie, Dennis and Elisabeth are with us, and Bruno (the latino with the dogname) is coming later.

We're sitting at the balcony, Linda, Katrine and Patrick. Mari is sleeping. Today, we're going out, cause last night was spent on the balcony(aqualounge), with good music from Dennis guitar(You're so fucking sexy!) and lots of rum and turkish pepper(or was that the night before?)!

06.26 - We're back at the balcony, Katrine, Linda and the latinos. Mari suddenly dissapeared, but we know she's safe! We went to Kafè Burger, it was HOT! Probably the hottest russian disco anyone of us has ever been at!
